Welcome Home

by | Aug 26, 2019 | Blog, Community, Mission, Prepare for Gathering

Exodus Church seeks to be a redeemed people who worship God and serve Him in the world. The church is not a place, but a people, and yesterday, we had the privilege of gathering as a redeemed people in a newly restored space, The Exodus Mill.

This Sunday gathering was a culmination of years of work to find and secure a place for Exodus Church to make our long-term home. Our first Sunday morning was a glorious moment. The light streamed through newly restored window panes onto the joyous faces of our people and children ran in excitement to bright, new classrooms. The sound of voices echoed throughout the building, joined together in praise of the One who makes us a family. The Exodus Mill is a bright and beautiful space and we are overwhelmed at the blessings God has provided to be able to call this place home.

Now, as our family has a new place to gather, we are excited about welcoming more and more people into our Exodus Family. The gospel we seek to declare and demonstrate compels us to be hospitable and intentional about welcoming others. Just like Jesus welcomes us into His family, we want to welcome others.

So, if you are new to our Exodus family or maybe considering being our guest, know that we are excited about welcoming you. If we can serve you in any way before you visit, let us know.
