Exodus Happenings, September 23, 2013

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

Pagan Pride Day

Pagan Pride Day is this Saturday, September 28  from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is being celebrated with an event at Stowe Park in Belmont, right across the street from where we worship. We want to respond in a loving and winsome way. If you’re interested, there are two key ways you can help:

  • Prayer: there will be organized prayer during the event. Greg Milroy is coordinating the prayer team.
  • Engagement: Many who will attend will do so out of simple curiosity, and may have questions as they do. The engagement team will be on hand to talk with people and respond to their questions in a gospel-centered, caring and authentic way. Kris Laney will coordinate the engagement team.

Contact either of these men if you’d like to participate in either of these teams.

Next Steps, September 29

If you’re new to Exodus, you might want to find out more about what we believe, what’s important to us as a church, and how you can get more involved, maybe even how to become a member. If so, join us for Next Steps on Sunday, September 29 from 5-7 pm at 101 South Main (worship space). We’ll address all those questions and more. Child care is provided if needed. Please RSVP so that we can plan well for those who attend.

Community Groups

Community groups are a crucial part of life at Exodus. This is how we extend our worship throughout the week. There are groups meeting throughout the area, and several new groups hopefully launching yet this year. Look at the community group options here, and see which one best fits your schedule and location.
