Exodus Happenings, July 23, 2012

by | Jul 23, 2012 | Events

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus:

Exodus Kids Extreme starts tonight and runs through Wednesday, 6:00-8:30 nightly. For all rising K through completed 5th grade students. We look forward to sharing the gospel with your children through lessons, games, music and crafts. At the Iris Room. If you haven’t already registered, come a few minutes early tonight and register at the door!

If you’re available to help in any way with EKE, contact Heather McEntire to let her know.

Exodus men are working on building a wheelchair ramp for an area couple. The next workday is Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Look for updates on the project here on The City, and if you can help on Saturday, please contact John McIntire (704-674-3290) or Steven Croshaw to volunteer.

The Lowes are hosting a Newcomers Dessert in their home (332 Deep Forest Court, Gastonia), Monday night, July 30, from 7:00-8:30. If you’ve starting coming to Exodus in the past six months or so, join us, meet the elders, and enjoy good food and fellowship.

The third of the movie nights for this summer is coming up on August 4. Plan to join us at Stowe Park for this outreach!

We are planning a Next Steps meeting for August 5 at 5:00 p.m. at the Iris Room. If you’ve been coming to Exodus for a while, and would like to know more about what it means to be a member of Exodus, this meeting is for you! Let us know you’d like to attend at info@theexoduschurch.org.

We will meet for First Monday prayer time on Monday, August 6. Join us to pray for the needs of the Exodus family. A meal will be served at 6:00 p.m. and prayer begins at 6:30. Please RSVP on The City so we know how to plan for the meal and child care.
