Here’s what’s happening at Exodus:
The City of Belmont is planning an additional movie night tonight, August 7; Exodus will be supporting in that effort as well. Plan to join us at Stowe Park for this outreach! Come a little early to help set up.
Throughout the month of August, we will be having a school supplies drive to benefit students at North Belmont Elementary School. There will be bins available to put your supplies donations in at the welcome area at the Iris Room. Contact David Keen if you need more details.
Exodus’ Student Ministry will launch on August 19 with Damon and Holly Murray giving leadership. This program is for middle and high school students, with monthly gatherings planned for the rest of 2012, moving to more frequent gatherings in 2013. If you have a student in this age group in your home, contact the Murrays for more information.
The 22nd Annual Walk for Life to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center is coming up on Sept. 7, 2012. Sign up sheets will be available soon at the info table during Sunday worship gatherings. Contact Darlene Mitchell for more information if you’d like to walk, or support others who do.
The next Money seminar series will start on Sept. 7-8, Friday evening and Saturday morning. Ben Hoersch will provide leadership to these important sessions about learning how to steward the resources that God has entrusted to you. Other dates for the fall are Oct. 19-20 and Nov. 2-3. When considering this, plan for attending all three sessions, and if married, to come together as a couple. Contact Ben Hoersch for more information or to register your interest in attending.
