The Bible is a book of books written by over 40 authors over the course of more than 1500 years on various continents and in various contexts.

At the dawn of time, things were as they should be, a world of beauty and grandeur inhabited by a man and a woman who were to serve as icons of the Creator who loved them deeply.
Then, in a moment of rebellion, a chasm was ripped in the cosmos.
The created ones had determined to follow their own design rather than the Designer.
The union that had incited poetic joy was now marred with blame-filled shame and the Serpent snickered with pride in his victory. This rebellion would have dire consequences and require a monumental solution.

We see the Snake Crusher’s heel in the sacrifices of Leviticus and the construction of the Temple. Then, finally, the Snake Crusher comes with the most delicate of heels—the heel of a baby. This baby lives a perfect life of obedience, crushing the Snake’s every temptation. He dies and rises again, and one day he will return to finish what was fulfilled. From Genesis 3:15 to Revelation 22, there is a story of stories—true stories—as God’s plan of restoration brings light to the darkness of history.
