Supply
(Single)
Our newest single, “Supply,” was written around a question Jesus asks our anxious hearts: “How much more does your Father care for you?” In Matthew 6, the birds don’t sow their food and the flowers don’t sew their clothing. They simply receive what they could never produce. Then Luke 15 shows us something even more staggering. The prodigal didn’t end up empty because he lacked ability, but because he walked away. Yet the first thing the father does when he returns is run to him, clothe him, and prepare a feast he didn’t deserve. One picture shows our inability. The other shows our rebellion. And in both, God is the One who supplies.
“Supply” was written to sit in that mystery: the Father who cares for us more than we know, who meets us in our worry, and who welcomes us even when we’ve wandered. The chorus is a prayer for every moment fear rises or faith feels small: “God, You supply my every need… Lord, help me believe.”
Our hope is that this song becomes a place of rest for anyone who sings it, a reminder that the Father who provides for sparrows and restores prodigals is the same Father who will not fail to care for you.
THE Psalm 119 Project
Psalm 119 is the biggest chapter in the whole bible. Its 176 verses are divided into twenty-two stanzas, one stanza for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. We have divided this Psalm into three different volumes. All three volumes have now been complete, originally composed to music with the exact lyrics from scripture. We hope it is a blessing and a tool to help memorize and meditate on God’s holy word.
This psalm reminds us both that God’s Word is a treasure and that we find great joy in our humble obedience to what it says. Scattered throughout the 22 stanzas of this Psalm are prayers for the grace to obey coupled with the hope that our obedience allows us to experience this joy our hearts crave. Psalm 119 is careful to remind us that our obedience doesn’t merit this joy, but it is the gateway for our experience of it. The writer of this Psalm wants us to remember the value and pursue the usefulness of God’s Word.
