WHAT TO EXPECT

At Exodus, we want to bring honor and fame to Jesus as we sing, as we learn from His Word, as we repent of sin and experience the forgiveness He purchased.

We want Jesus to be the name that you remember when you leave.

MUSIC

Part of our gathering includes singing songs to and about God. We ask you to focus on the words. Contemplate the truths we are singing. As you learn them, please join in singing.

Message

Our gathering includes a time of preaching from the Bible. We believe the Bible to be God’s Word – our guide for faith and life. There are Bibles available underneath nearby seats in the Worship Space. As you listen, consider how you might need to be shaped by the truth you are hearing.

the table

Jesus told his followers to observe what is called the Lord’s Table or Communion. If you are a follower of Jesus, we invite you to remember with us the sacrifice of Jesus in our place for our sins.

tithes & offerings

If you are our guest, we are grateful that you are here and do not expect you to participate in giving. Our members and regular attenders give in the Give Boxes located at the back of the Worship Space and in The Commons as well as online giving. For more information on giving, click here.

Let us know you’re coming!

We want any guest to feel welcomed, seen, and loved from the moment they pull into our parking lot. To help do this, we would love for you to park in our designated first-time guest parking spots and to complete the Plan Your Visit form. When you arrive, stop by the Welcome Desk in our lobby so that we can meet you and give you a small token of our appreciation for your visit.

DO YOU HAVE KIDS?

FAQ

Gospel Centrality

Jesus was sent to earth to forgive and save rebellious sinners like us. Any who place their faith in the finished work of Jesus can have new, abundant, and eternal life. This gospel is the best news on the planet. And this gospel is central to all we do at Sent Church.

What’s with the name?

In the Bible, we read the Exodus story of God’s mighty deliverance of his people from the bondage of slavery. They were delivered for a simple purpose—to worship God and serve Him in the world.

What is the worship gathering like?

Our goal during our weekend gathering is to display Jesus as our Redeemer who delivers us from bondage to worship Him and serve Him in the world. We do this in every facet of our gathering from music to preaching to taking communion. Our gathered worship is historically informed and God centered. Our atmosphere is intentionally casual and comfortable, welcoming and warm, engaging and challenging.

What else happens during the week?

Our goal is to be a people…to live in community…that cannot happen if we only meet on Sunday. To help experience community as a Church, we meet in Community Groups to discuss and apply the message from our worship gatherings.

What is available for children?

Exodus Kids seeks to provide an intentional time of nurture and training for children that is safe and secure. Exodus Kids takes place during our worship gatherings each week for children six months through 5th grade.

What is available for students?

ExodusStudents are in grades 6 through 12 and meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30p to 8p. In our meetings, we seek to accomplish three goals for ExodusStudents:

  • To make disciples
  • To be the church
  • To have lots of fun

We study the sermon series and enjoy a time of fellowship and prayer. In addition to our weekly meeting, we periodically get together for special activities and seek missions opportunities.
