Idolatry and the Destruction of Romance

Childcare: We will also be providing centralized childcare which will be held at our kid’s space at the Iris Room. Childcare will be an additional $5.00 per family.

Idolatry destroys Romance. When we idolize marriage, being married can never hold up under the weight we place on it and romance withers. When we idolize our spouse, they let us down and the dream of romance dies. When we idolize something else, we give our lives to that thing…and the energy needed for romance is sapped from us. When we idolize ourselves, we romance only as a means to our own satisfaction. Idolatry destroys Romance. So, then, we need to have our hearts reorganized.
