by | Dec 10, 2012 | Events

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus:Gifts for Project Angel Tree must be returned to the Iris Room no later than Sunday morning, December 16th. Bring your gift unwrapped, but please provide wrapping supplies. Please contact Jessica MacIntosh at 919-889-0154 if you have questions.

Nathan Chapman and the Exodus Advent Choir will lead worship at the Billy Graham Library on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Come to worship with the team, and enjoy a live nativity, carriage rides, beautiful Christmas lights and more. Parking this year is $10.00/vehicle after 3:00 p.m.

Throughout the month of December, we will collect an international missions offering. We hope to raise $3,000 to dig a well for the base camp for Echelon, working to reach tribes in Uganda and South Sudan. Designate “international missions” as you place your gift in the offering box.

The next opportunity for parent/child dedication will be on Sunday, December 23 (Sunday before Christmas). If you’re interested in taking part, let us know, and please include in your message which service you prefer.

We will also be observing baptism on Sunday, Dec. 23 in both services. If you would like to be baptized, or have other questions about baptism, let us know here.

There will be no Exodus Kids for K-5 on December 23 and 30. Plan to worship together as a family on those days. The other age groups for EK will meet as usual.

Make plans now for you and your family to join us for Exodus Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24, 5:00 and 6:15 p.m. at the Iris Room. So that we can manage attendance better, please RSVP here for the 5:00 service, OR here for 6:15 service.

Reminder: please take a few minutes to check your profile on The City and make sure it is complete and accurate. We will be using this information to send year-end giving receipts, and need your help to avoid misdirected communications.
