Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
Promoting Exodus Kids Special Summer Events
Exodus Kids has some special events coming up this summer that are great opportunities to reach out to the community. But, we have to get the word out! We need someone to help with some flyers and publicity–including distribution–for this summer’s EK events. This is not something that we expect will take a great deal of time, but it does need to happen in the next month. Contact Heather Phillips if you can help in this way.
Tired of not knowing where all your money is going? Has “keeping up with the Joneses” led you to instead be “keeping up with minimum payments”? Do you desire to give or serve, but don’t know how you can make it happen? Exodus Church will be hosting a basic money management class exploring what God’s word has to say about our money, how we handle it, and why it matters. We will meet Friday, May 3 from 6:00 p.m.–9:00 o,m, and on Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 a.m.–noon, There is no cost for this event and childcare will also be provided at no cost (just let us know you need it). Bring an openness to hear from God’s word, your Bible, and a smile.

Our next Leadership Summit is Monday evening, May 6. If you serve at Exodus, or would like to serve in some capacity, join us for this time of evaluation, planning and prayer. Put this important time on your calendar.
We will be having parent/child dedication on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12. If you would like to have your child dedicated then, let us know, and include which service—9:00 or 11:00—you prefer. NOTE: There will also be an opportunity for parent/child dedication on Father’s Day in June. Watch the City for more info.
We will be celebrating baptism on two Sundays in May, the 5th and the 26th. If you’ve never been baptised, and would like to be. contact one of the pastors or your community group leader to let them know. They will make sure that you get the necessary information.
