Men’s Breakfast
Exodus men will meet for breakfast and fellowship on Saturday, April 27 at 8:00 a.m. at the City Cafe, 128 South Main in Mt. Holly. RSVP here to let us know you’re coming.
Exodus Kids
Thank you—so very much—to all who have stepped up to help with Exodus Kids. All of the teaching and helping slots have now been filled for this rotation. However, we can always use subs to help out when regular teachers are sick or out of town, so if you’re willing to be added to our sub list, let Heather Phillips know.
Money Matter$
Tired of not knowing where all your money is going? Has “keeping up with the Joneses” led you to instead be “keeping up with minimum payments”? Do you desire to give or serve, but don’t know how you can make it happen? Exodus Church will be hosting a basic money management class exploring what God’s word has to say about our money, how we handle it, and why it matters. This is an important topic whether young or old, single, married, kids or no kids, or even empty nesters. We will meet May 3rd & 4th from 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Friday night and 9:00 a.m.–noon Saturday morning. There is no cost for this event and childcare will also be provided at no cost (just let us know you need it). Bring an openness to hear from God’s word, your Bible, and a smile.
For more information or to RSVP (no later than April 28), let us know here.
Leadership Summit
Our next Leadership Summit is Monday evening, May 6. If you serve at Exodus, or would like to serve in some capacity, join us for this time of evaluation, planning and prayer. Put this important time on your calendar.
Parent/Child Dedication
We will be having parent/child dedication on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12. If you would like to have your child dedicated then, let us know, and include which service—9:00 or 11:00—you prefer. NOTE: There will also be an opportunity for parent/child dedication on Father’s Day in June. Watch the City for more info.
Baptism
We will be celebrating baptism on Sunday, May 26. If you’ve never been baptised, and would like to be. contact one of the pastors or your community group leader to let them know. They will make sure that you get the necessary information.
