Exodus Christmas Happenings

by | Dec 1, 2012 | Events

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus for the Christmas season. Enjoy celebrating Jesus with your family through these events.

Angel Tree
This Christmas we have the opportunity to support area families through our partnership with North Belmont Elementary. Look for the Angel Tree in the Welcome Area, choose an ornament that represents a need, and bring your gift back no later than Dec. 16.

Belmont Christmas Parade, Dec. 4, 4:00–6:00 pm
The Exodus family will serve hot chocolate and candy canes and offer a shelter from the weather at the Iris Room. Stop in to join the fun and chat with parade goers. Contact Matt Blackledge if you can help serve those who stop in.

Holiday Lights, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, Dec. 8, 6:30–8:30 pm
Nathan Chapman will share Christmas music as part of Holiday Lights at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden (6500 South New Hope Road, Belmont). Adults, $12; Children 4-12, $6. See www.dsbg.org for information.

Christmas at the Billy Graham Library, Dec. 12, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Exodus worship team leads holiday worship at the Billy Graham Library (4330 Westmont Drive, Charlotte). Come early as traffic and parking ($10/car this year) can be challenging. Information: www.billygrahamlibrary.org.

Belmont Christmas Village, Dec. 14, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Come join Exodus Christmas carolers while shops on Main Street have open house. Enjoy hayrides, carriage rides and more!

International Missions Offering
Throughout the month of December, we will collect an international missions offering for those that are taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. Designate “international missions” as you place your gift in the offering box.

Exodus Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24, 5:00 and 6:15 p.m. at the Iris Room

Join us for The Coming King, Sunday mornings in December, 9 & 11 a.m., Iris Room
