Band

The Worship Band helps lead worship on Sunday mornings through music. It is composed of various instrumentalists and singers who rotate on an as-needed basis. This team utilizes Planning Center Services to prepare, rehearse, and arrive at worship services ready to sing and “play skillfully” unto the Lord (Psalm 33:3). To be part of the band, you will need to complete an application, and you will be contacted for an interview and audition.

BAPTISM TEAM

Baptism is offered at Exodus Church several times a year. As a member of the Baptism Team, you would need to be available the day before the scheduled baptism to help set up for the service and on the day of the baptism to assist those who are to be baptized.

CLOSING TEAM

The Closing Team is responsible for everything that happens after worship on Sundays and after events during the week. The members of this team help with taking out the trash, picking up anything left behind, making sure the space is ready for the cleaning crew, and turning off the lights as they leave.

Community Groups

Community Group Leaders lead, shepherd, and disciple a small group of people in the mission and vision of Exodus Church. Their responsibilities include leading discussion and prayer each week, encouraging members to be on mission individually and as a Community Group, and keeping in touch with each member of your group on a regular basis.

Connections TEAM

The Connections Team consists of greeters, ushers, info desk, and hospitality team members who seek to help guests and members feel welcomed and connected at Exodus by greeting them, ushering them into each morning worship service, and preparing and maintaining the coffee area.

Creative Media TEAM

The Creative Media Team visually tells the church’s story through creative design and implementation. Exodus uses many forms of creative media that require specific skill sets, such as video production, photography, and graphic design.

Exodus Kids

Sunday Mornings
Exodus Kids is made up of volunteers who are passionate about teaching kids more about Jesus. There are many ways to serve in Exodus Kids. On Sunday mornings, we have volunteers who serve as teachers, assistants, and coordinators. Our volunteers can serve with children from 6 months to 5th grade. To serve in Exodus Kids, you must have been attending Exodus for at least six months, have a background check, meet with the Exodus Kids director, and complete training.

Paid Childcare
Another part of Exodus Kids is our paid Childcare Team. We provide childcare for special events, Women’s Bible Study, Equip Nights, Next Steps, Community Groups, and other events at The Mill. We care for children ages 6 months to 5th grade. Our goal is to provide kids with a safe, God-honoring environment while their parents participate in events.

Exodus Students

Exodus Students ministers to students from 6th-12th grade, meeting every Wednesday night at The Mill. While Wednesday night is a weekly touch point, our leaders serve by showing up in the lives of students throughout the week. Serving as a leader with Exodus Students means pouring into students’ lives as you walk through life alongside them. If you have a heart for students but don’t know that you feel called to jump into being a leader, there are plenty of other ways to support this ministry, such as caring for our leaders and helping coordinate events.

Exodus Women

Exodus Women seeks to equip women with ways to joyfully connect, grow, learn, and serve Christ together. Possible service opportunities include planning and coordinating events, serving during events on the Welcome and Hospitality Teams, and following up with women in relational ways.

Facilities TEAM

The Facilities Team serves the church body by handling maintenance and repair work as needed to ensure our facilities are operating as desired. The members of this team help with projects that impact all areas of ministry as we expand into unfinished parts of The Mill. This important behind-the-scenes work can be completed at various times throughout the week. Those on the team typically have general handyman skills, experience in a specific trade, or the desire to learn.

Operations TEAM

The Operations Team assists with ministry tasks such as organizing data and physical resources, managing registrations, gathering information, and planning small staff events. Volunteers can help in roles that fit their experience and knowledge. The time commitment can be for a single project or on an ongoing basis.

Production TEAM

The Production Team is composed of volunteers who rotate on an as-needed basis to run audio, ProPresenter, video for live streaming, and manage the flow of services from a technical perspective. This team works together to ensure every worship gathering runs smoothly and according to plan. Utilizing Planning Center Services, this team is organized and cares about the details. To be part of the Production Team, you will need to complete an application, and then you will be contacted for an interview.

Security TEAM

The Security Team is tasked with ensuring the safety of our people on Sunday mornings and occasionally other events at The Mill. They are responsible for walking our grounds during the services and working to protect access to the children in Exodus Kids. Everything they do is to ensure that the people attending Exodus Church can worship and learn in a safe environment.

Setup TEAM

The Setup Team is responsible for transforming the Worship Space and other spaces in The Mill when tables and chairs need to be moved or rearranged. Volunteers serve on an as-needed basis several times a year.

Tech TEAM

The Technology Team helps with our church’s technology needs. They maintain our computers and equipment in Exodus Kids, Exodus Students, worship services, and our office. They also create processes, maintain our network, and work to improve and keep our technology up to date.

Teaching Opportunities

Many teaching opportunities exist, ranging from one-time events to regular positions. There are opportunities to teach kids, students, or adults based on gifts, personality, and ability. As a teacher, you will prepare and deliver lessons that align with the mission and vision of Exodus Church. Assessment and evaluation may be necessary before becoming an approved teacher.

Serving others is a fulfilling, God-ordained task, so this is something we want for you, not from you. Our serve opportunities range from one-time, short commitments, to being a regular part of a weekly serve team.
