Exodus Church partners with a number of churches in our region, across the country, and around the world to further the cause of Christ. There have been several changes recently that we wanted to share.
Will and Theresa Barkley have left their missionary work at the International Church of Batam due to ongoing care needs of his parents following a serious car crash. They have returned to Washington where Will is serving as a pastoral resident at Indian Trail Church in Spokane. Because of this move, they have no more need of church support and we are no longer partnering with them.
One of our new partners is Reconcile Community Church in Greenville, SC. Will Broadus and his wife Becca have recently returned from missionary work in Asia. A native of Greenville, Will came back to his hometown to plant a church in partnership with Acts29. You can learn more about Reconcile at http://reconcilecc.org/.
Some familiar faces around Exodus are forming a new church plant in Charlotte called Life Church. Ben Davey and his core team members connected to Exodus through Acts29 and attended here while they worked to get their church plant ready. They have recently left to gather as a team in preparation for their official launch in September in the Plaza Midwood area. You can learn more about their church plant at http://charlottelife.org/.
Please pray for all of our partner churches. Pray for the health and resiliency of their leaders, pray for current and future attendees of the churches, and pray that the gospel will shine through their ministries.
