ANGEL TREE
Every year during the Advent season our church participates in Angel Tree in order to support local families through North Belmont Elementary and Salvation Army. On Sunday, 11/10, we will have a Christmas tree with paper angels on it set up in the lobby area. Each angel has a list of needs, including special requests. When you choose an angel from the tree you are committing to purchasing the items listed on that angel up to a reasonable limit.
We have many more angels this year than in years past so everyone who wants one should be able to get one. All gifts will be due on or before Sunday, 12/1.
Wrapping Party
Friday, December 6, We need volunteers to help wrap the gifts for our Angel Tree tags. We are wrapping gifts for over 100 kids and we’ll have all the wrapping supplies as well as snacks, music, and conversation to make the work fun. This will be a time to serve the children in our community by wrapping their Christmas gifts. We will also spend some time in prayer over the families we are serving. There will be two available times to sign up. You can choose to sign up from 9-11 AM or from 7-9 PM.Â
Gift Pick Up/Delivery Day
Saturday, December 7, we will have our gift pick up and delivery day for our Angel Tree gifts. This year we are inviting the Angel Tree families to come into the Mill for hot chocolate, crafts, and a parent gift station. For many this may be the only time they will be greeted with God’s love through His church during this season. We’re looking for volunteers to help volunteer at the event as well as drivers to deliver some of the gifts.
This year we are serving 75 more families than last year through Angel Tree, so that means we need more help than ever. We invite you to come be a part of the joy it is to serve these families well, to be a display of Christ’s love for them during the season of His birth.
International Offering
Each year during the Advent season we collect our International Offering to directly support our international ministry partners. The entire amount raised is divided among the ministries and helps further their work, meet needs, and share the message of Jesus around the world.
Each Sunday during Advent we will show a video from one of our international partners allowing us to meet the people we support as well as hear from them and how our support is helping in their ministry. You can read more about their ministries on our website.

Hope Has Come
(Christmas EP)
Hope Has Come, is a three-song Christmas EP featuring two new original songs from Exodus Music, “Hope Has Come” and “Emmanuel Born to Save Us.” Our prayer is for these songs to meet people where they are at and usher in the Spirit in the Christmas season.
