Mark 10:42-45
And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
In silence and anticipation, behold your King! Attend! The Mystery of the Ages unfolds and the light reveals … a Servant. The model of meekness, humility and honor. The first among us, the Great One, the Servant, our Savior. God Himself, taking the form of a servant. He was rich, yet for your sake became poor. Through his poverty he makes you rich. He gives you an example, that you may do as he has done.
The Servant King, the King of Kings! Sing hallelujah in the name of King. Raise your voice and exalt the Lord your Savior who has served you so thoroughly. In the light of revelation, observe true greatness, our redemption is accomplished through the Servant of All, the Son of Man, the Ransomer. True love dawns in the heart of man creating a people who serve, a family of servants.
Highly exalted is the name of the King. Heaven and earth declare all praise to the Name above all Names. We serve the King, with courage and honor. We love the King, with all our heart, mind, body, and soul. Our devotion is to our King, forever, the only one who shines brighter than ten thousand suns, the one true King! Every crown we lay down at his feet. He is our treasure, and our hearts are with Him for eternity.
