Exodus Happenings, December 16, 2012

We hope to raise $3,000 to dig a well for the base camp for Echelon, working to reach tribes in Uganda and South Sudan through our international missions offering, throughout December. Designate “international missions” as you place your gift in the offering box.

The next opportunity for parent/child dedication will be next Sunday, December 23. If you’re interested in taking part, let us know, and please include in your message which service you prefer.

We will also be observing baptism on Sunday, Dec. 23 in both services. If you would like to be baptized, or have other questions about baptism, let us know here.

There will be no Exodus Kids for K-5 on December 23 and 30. Plan to worship together as a family on those days. The other age groups for EK will meet as usual.

Make plans now for you and your family to join us for Exodus Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24, 5:00 and 6:15 p.m. at the Iris Room. So that we can manage attendance better, please RSVP here for the 5:00 service, OR here for 6:15 service.

Reminder: please take a few minutes to check your profile on The City and make sure it is complete and accurate. We will be using this information to send year-end giving receipts, and need your help to avoid misdirected communications.

There will be an informational meeting for the Bronx Mission Trip (July 2013) on Sunday, Jan. 6 immediately after the second service in the K-5 area. If you think you can join this trip, or just want more information to decide, join David and Leah Ammons for this important meeting.
