Exodus Happenings, November 20, 2014

by | Nov 20, 2014 | Community, Events, Mission, News

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

Exodus Kids Need–Service Captains
In an effort to ensure that each Sunday with Exodus Kids runs smoothly and safely, we are working to put in place Service Captains who will bear overall responsibility for coordinating the needs of Exodus Kids for one of the Sunday morning services. This would include (but is not limited to) ensuring that all positions are filled each Sunday, all supplies and materials in place, coordinating with various personnel for Exodus Kids needs, and so on. To learn more about these positions, or to express interest in helping in this way, please contact Heather Phillips.
No K-5 Class Nov. 30
There will be no EK classes for the K-5 groups on Thanksgiving Sunday, Nov. 30. Please enjoy our worship gathering together as a family on that day.

Project Angel Tree

Our Angel Tree project for this year will kick off on November 23. Begin to pray about how you and your family can be involved with helping other needy families in the area through this project.

Leadership Summit, Dec. 1
If you currently serve at Exodus, or are looking for a place to plug in and use your gifts, Leadership Summit is for you. We will celebrate what God has done among us in 2014, and look ahead to plans for 2015. All serving teams will be represented, so join us!

Women’s Night, Dec. 4

The Women’s ministry is hosting a Feliz Navidad party! Please bring your favorite Mexican appetizer or dish to share. We will celebrate Jesus birth together with great Christmas music, food and fellowship.

Community Groups

If you’re not already connected in a Community Group, we encourage you to visit one or more to see for yourself how important they are to Exodus Church. You can see a list of options here, or look for the list at the Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning at the welcome desk.
