Exodus Happenings, April 15, 2014

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus:

Easter Week

Join us for Easter week worship service tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at 101 S. Main. Through prayer, readings, and song, we will focus our hearts on Jesus’ sacrifice for our redemption. There will be no child care during this service so that we can all worship together as a family.

On Easter Sunday, there will be three worship services: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00. Invite your family and friends to join us for the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection! If your plans for Easter Sunday are flexible, plan to attend the 11:00 service, as that has historically been the smallest attendance of the three services, and we need the Exodus family on hand to welcome guests. There will be no K-5th classes in EK this week; these kids will worship together with their families.

Our Easter Offering for church planting will be used to help Axis Church in Nashville with their building project to fund a permanent home for the church. Please prayerfully consider what you can do to help, and mark your offering accordingly

Exodus Kids Update

There is a need for a worker in the 4’s class at 9:00 a.m. from mid May until the end of July. If you can help, stop by the Iris Room on Sunday and talk with Heather Phillips, or message her here on the City.

Money 101

Our Financial Team will host a Money 101 weekend, Friday night and Saturday morning, April 25 and 26. This is a free workshop, with childcare provided. If you would like to learn more about how to faithfully steward the resources God has given you, join us for this important weekend!

Parent/Child Dedication

There will be an opportunity for Parent/Child Dedication on Mother’s Day, May 11, in both services. If you would like to have your child(ren) dedicated, respond here to let us know which service you prefer. We will follow up with you with additional information.

Community Groups

Are you plugged in to a community group? Community groups play a significant role in the life of Exodus Church. They meet weekly throughout the area; there is sure to be an option that’s conveniently located and timed for you. Look for a Community Group options sheet at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings, or view the list here.
