Kee Road

Exodus seeks to be a redeemed people who worship and serve God in the world
—and we’re a people that is growing.

Since Exodus first began meeting in the Iris Room, we’ve been looking for a more permanent home, and space continues to be a pressing need. It’s been a difficult journey. Many of us have worked long and hard to find an available space that meets our basic criteria—location, growth potential, and cost.

But so far, for one reason or another, property after property, location after location, none have
worked out. After much searching, however, we’d like to share a promising opportunity.

Our biggest needs for a property include: good access to major roads, be within the Highway 74/I-85 corridor, and we would like to remain in Eastern Gaston County. For us, a permanent home must also be something that we can grow into, and, of course, something we can afford.

This property, located on Kee Road in Belmont, appears to be a great location for our Exodus family. From exit 26 on I-85, it takes about 2-5 minutes to reach the property, which is slightly less than what it takes to reach our current location from that exit. With over 12 acres of land, this property also has significant growth potential. Per acre, the property is fairly priced based on recent comparisons and would total $485,000 for the whole section, which is within our price range.

This property seems to be a huge answer to years of prayer.

After much discussion, deliberation, and prayer, the elders are excited to bring forward this recommendation to our Exodus family:

We would purchase the land for $485,000 plus due diligence and closing costs.

We love and serve a God both good and great. He is the God who provides, let us pray toward that end. God is at work in and through Exodus Church. What he has planted, he is growing, so let’s rejoice!
