Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

Leadership Summit

If God has brought you to Exodus, we believe He has a place for you to serve. Come to the next Leadership Summit to learn more and get plugged in. Join us on September 9 at 6:30 p.m. at 101 South Main. This is an evaluation, planning, and prayer meeting for all who serve at Exodus. Child care will be provided at the Iris Room. A light snack will be served. Note: you need not be a member to attend the Leadership Summit.

Exodus Kids Update

Thank you to all who have stepped up to serve in Exodus Kids for this rotation! Between the two services, we have a total of 40 people involved in teaching and caring for our children. There is still a need for a worker in the infants room at 11:00 a.m., so if you can help with the babies during this rotation, please contact Heather Phillips.

Walk for Life, Sept. 6

The Walk for Life, to benefit the Gaston County Crisis Pregnancy Center, will be on Friday, Sept. 6. Registration begins at 3:30; the walk begins at 4:00. If you’d like to participate, or support someone who is participating, contact Darlene Mitchell. Exodus is also sponsoring the water booth for the walkers this year, so if you can serve there, or provide a case or two of bottled water, let Darlene know as well.

New Sermon Series

Have you ever longed for something to invade your mundane, daily routine to give it meaning? Then join us for the new sermon series on James, starting Sept. 8. Get a preview of the series here. Get a head start by reading through James this week.

Community Groups

Are you plugged in to a community group? Community groups are a crucial part of life at Exodus, and are how we extend our worship throughout the week. There are groups meeting throughout the area. Look at the community group options here, and see which one best fits your schedule and location.
