- Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
Baptism, Oct. 13
We will be celebrating baptism in both services on Sunday, October 13. If you would like to be baptised, please let us know. We will follow up with more details.
Money 101 Seminar, Nov. 1 and 2
In a recent sermon from James, Brian shared that “Every good and every perfect gift is from above and coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:17). These good gifts include our Lord’s provision of money. 1 Cor. 4:2 says it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
Do you desire to be that trustworthy steward?
On November 1-2, the financial team at Exodus will offer another Money 101 class at the worship space at 101 S. Main St. Belmont. In these classes, on Friday evening and Saturday morning, we will discuss what God says about money and also work through some practical ways to be good stewards of the money He gives us. This discussion will be beneficial to all who desire to know more about stewardship.
If married, it is best that both husband and wife attend together. Childcare will be provided. At completion, you will take away some good budgeting guidelines. Counselors are available to walk with you as you implement what you have learned.
Please let us know if you will be able to attend and how many children will be coming so we can arrange for child care as needed. We hope to see you there!
Community groups are a crucial part of life at Exodus. This is how we extend our worship throughout the week. A new community group just started at George and Debbie Miller’s house at 101 Overlook Court in Mt. Holly, Sunday evenings at 5:00. If that day and time work for you, join them there in the coming weeks. There are other groups meeting throughout the area, and more new groups hopefully launching yet this year. Look at the community group options here, and see which one best fits your schedule and location.
