Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
This year, Exodus will be helping kids at North Belmont Elementary and Forest Heights Elementary through the Angel Tree project. A tree with ornaments representing the kids’ needs will be in the Welcome area starting this Sunday; gifts should be returned no later than December 15. Contact Rachel Meade on The City with any questions.
No K-5 class in Exodus Kids on Dec. 1
There will be no class for K-5 on December 1, the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Enjoy Exodus worship together as a family that day. Other classes will meet as usual.
Advent at Exodus
Pick up a flyer this Sunday in the Welcome area for more information about how we’ll be celebrating the Advent season at Exodus!
Our final Leadership Summit for 2013 will be on Monday evening, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. This will be a time to reflect on all God has done at Exodus this year and to thank Him for His faithfulness. Light snack will be served, and child care provided. For all who serve in any capacity…or who would like to get plugged to service at Exodus.
Prison Ministry Training
Over the past year and a half, Exodus Church has had a ministry at the York County (SC) prison, coordinated by Tracey and Bubba Hines. If you’re interested in possibly joining this group, there will be a (mandatory) training at the prison, 778 Justice Blvd, York, SC 29745, on December 7 at 4:30 p.m. Check here for more information. Be sure to bring a photo ID to the training.
Community groups are a crucial part of life at Exodus. This is how we extend our worship throughout the week. There are groups meeting throughout the area each week, with new groups added recently. Look at the community group options here, and see which one best fits your schedule and location.
