Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
Tyler Jones preaching May 25
We are please to welcome Tyler Jones, lead pastor of Vintage Church in Raleigh, as our guest this Sunday, May 25. Tyler loves Jesus and has a unique gift to help doubters, seekers and followers connect with him through his word. Let’s come with hearts eager to receive God’s Word this Sunday.
Valle Crucis Community Park, Memorial Day
Join others in the Exodus family for a day of fun at Valle Crucis Community Park on Monday, May 26, Memorial Day. More details and RSVP here.
Nashville Summer Mission
We are planning a summer mission trip to Nashville to do some light construction (ie, gruntwork) at the Axis Church or lead Bible studies and fun activities at the local community center. This short-term mission opportunity, June 19-22, is appropriate for any age, and special accommodations will be made for families who want to bring children. Cost per individual or family will be roughly $300-$400 and support letters will help raise funds to reach that amount. If you are interested in going, but have not yet expressed that interest, message Julie Croshaw on The City for more details.
Exodus Summer Interns
We look forward to meeting our three summer interns this Sunday, May 25, and serving with them throughout the summer. Read more about them here,
Along with the opportunity to serve alongside our interns this summer, we will also be able to learn with them. Summer School will be held Monday nights, starting June 2, and is for all adults in the Exodus family. Come to one class, or come to them all. Look for the schedule of classes here.
Exodus Kids Summer
Lots of summer fun is being planned for Exodus Kids. Save the dates with the list here. The first of the events will be June 16 for K-2nd graders at Kate’s Skating Rink. Watch the City for more information and opportunities to RSVP for the summer events.
There will be another opportunity for Parent/Child Dedication on Father’s Day, June 15, in both services. If you would like to have your child(ren) dedicated, respond here to let us know which service you prefer. We will follow up with you with additional information.
Are you plugged in to a community group? Community groups play a significant role in the life of Exodus Church. They meet weekly throughout the area; there is sure to be an option that’s conveniently located and timed for you. Look for a Community Group options sheet at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings, or view the list here.
