Exodus Happenings, January 6, 2015

by | Jan 6, 2015 | Community, Events, Mission, News

Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

Men’s Breakfast, January 10

This first meeting of the new year will help us to focus on how we draw close to God and how He might use us in 2015. Join us from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the Round Bistro, 2609 South New Hope Road, Gastonia. RSVP here.

Exodus Kids Toy Cleaning

If you can spare some time on Saturday morning, January 10, please come to the Iris Room between 10:00 and noon and help with cleaning the toys for Exodus Kids. Whether you can stay and work there, or can pick up some things to take home and put in the washer or dishwasher, the more help we have, the quicker the task will be finished. If you take items home, they will need to be returned before the first service on Sunday. Please RSVP here if you can help.

Next Steps, January 11

If you’re considering becoming a member of Exodus, or simply have questions you’d like to ask, please join us for Next Steps, Sunday, January 11 at 5:00 p.m. at 101 South Main. Child care provided as needed; please mention that when you RSVP.

Leadership Summit, January 12

Leadership Summit is for all who serve at Exodus, or who would like to find a place to serve. Join us as we plan and pray for 2014. All service areas will be represented, so if you’re looking for a place to use your gifts, join us! 6:30-8:00 p.m., 101 South Main Street, Belmont.

Exodus Kids Need—Service Captains

There is still a need for Service Captains for Exodus Kids. These people will be important in ensuring that Exodus Kids runs smoothly and safely by carrying overall responsibility for coordinating the needs of Exodus Kids for one of the Sunday morning services. This would include (but is not limited to) ensuring that all positions are filled each Sunday, all supplies and materials are in place, coordinating with various personnel for Exodus Kids needs, and so on. To learn more about these positions, or to express interest in helping in this way, please contact Heather Phillips.

Scavenger Hunt, January 23

Exodus Kids, families, singles, and friends—everyone is welcome!  3rd Annual Scavenger Hunt (on foot) through the streets of downtown Belmont.  Meet at 101 South Main at 7:00 pm, and dress WARM!!!  Snacks, hot chocolate and fellowship after we finish. Bring a device to snap some digital pics on to prove your finds. RSVP here.

Authentic Manhood starts January 26

Men at Exodus Belmont will study Volume 2, and Exodus Northlake will be in Volume 1. Make plans now to join us!

Community Groups

Community Groups are the best way to get connected at Exodus. Groups meeting in a variety of locations around the area each week. Visit one or more to see where you and your family might fit best. You can see a list of options here, or look for a list at the Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning.
