Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
Exodus Kids Need—Service Captains
In an effort to ensure that each Sunday with Exodus Kids runs smoothy and safely, we are working to put in place Service Captains who will carry overall responsibility for coordinating the needs of Exodus Kids for one of the Sunday morning services. This would include (but is not limited to) ensuring that all positions are filled each Sunday, all supplies and materials are in place, coordinating with various personnel for Exodus Kids needs, and so on. To learn more about these positions, or to express interest in helping in this way, please contact Heather Phillips.
Project Angel Tree
Hopefully by now you have picked up an ornament or two to help out a child for this year’s Angel Tree project. Return your gifts to the worship space no later than December 14. Don’t wrap your gifts, but do bring wrapping supplies with it.
Women’s Night, Feliz Navidad Party, Dec. 4
Join us for a fun night, celebrating Jesus’ birth together with great Christmas music, food and fellowship. Bring your favorite Mexican appetizer or dish to share. Hosted by Rachel Elmore. Details and RSVP here.
On the blog…
- Look for a post by Aaron Wilson encouraging us to suffer well for Jesus’ sake.
- In light of Brian’s mention of elders in this week’s sermon, learn more about how elders serve at Exodus.
The Exodus family will celebrate Jesus’ birth together with two gathered worship services on Christmas Eve, 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. Make plans now for your family to attend. In order for the whole family to worship together, there will be no child care during these services.
Looking Ahead…Authentic Manhood
New sessions start in January. Men at Exodus Belmont will study Volume 2, and Exodus Northlake will be in Volume 1.
If you’re not already connected in a Community Group, we encourage you to visit one or more to see for yourself how important they are to Exodus Church. You can see a list of options here, or look for a list at the Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning.
