Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

School Supplies Drive

There is still time to get in on the school supply drive for North Belmont Elementary School this year. Bring your school supply items to the worship space on August 16.

Back to School Pool Party

Friday, August 14, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Cramerton Pool. Kiddie pool will also be open. This will be fun for all ages. Bring a “nut-free” dish to share. No glass; drinks and paper products will be provided.

Exodus Kids Workers Needed

Volunteers are still needed to serve in Exodus Kids for the Fall/Winter rotation which begins in September. Twelve more people are needed to cover both services; Adult females are needed in the 9:00 service.  If you can assist in this way, look for Heather Phillips at the Iris Room some Sunday morning, or message her here on The City.

Women’s Mentoring

Sign-up here to be part of our women’s mentoring ministry. You’ll be placed into very small groups with a mentor, following the Titus 2 model of older women teaching the younger women. We look forward to having you join us!

As Two Become One

Scott and Lenora Crabtree will be hosting a marriage group in their home (5412 Old Farm Road, Gastonia) starting on September 11. There is more information here about dates, topics and leaders. Registration is also available now and space is still available. If you have questions not covered at the link above, contact Scott Crabtree here on The City or by email here.

Community Groups

If you’re not currently connected with a community group, pick up a CG schedule at the Welcome area on a Sunday morning, or check here for a list of options. There is sure to be an option near you at a time you can join.
