Exodus cares about developing men who reflect the character of Jesus. We try to build times to do this like our Men’s Retreat. We try to encourage this to happen organically through relationships and community groups. We also believe that creating some shared space, language and experience will benefit Exodus, our families and our men.
The material we will use for this is called 33: The Series. Structured with strong video teaching, group discussion and strategic action steps, this material is made for men. Volume I contains six sessions that explore the basic foundations of Authentic Manhood and God’s clear design for men. Starting with meaningful insights into the current state of manhood, Volume I helps men navigate through some manhood realities that have created cultural confusion. It follows by unfolding God’s manhood mandates for all men and offering a clear definition of Authentic Manhood that helps men on their journey. Volume 2 (which is where we will be in the Monday night series starting Jan. 26) guides men to understand and come to grips with the defining moments and key relationships that have shaped their unique ‘story.’ In this second volume of 33 The Series, men explore their stories through a biblical perspective. With help from experts and regular guys, they will be equipped to learn from their past, come alive in their present, and enjoy God’s best in the future.
We will begin offering this class on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00 at the Iris Room. Our first meeting will be on January 26. The class will cost $15 to cover your materials. Sign up here.
