Get Informed

Every parent that brings their children to Exodus Kids asks three questions:

We want to answer those questions and others here. If you have more questions about Exodus Kids, let us know.

Will My Child be Safe?

The safety and care of your child is our highest priority. For this reason, we have appropriately qualified leaders who have been assessed and trained to work with children. We also employ a pager system to let you know if your Little One needs help. No one is allowed into the Exodus Kids area without proper identification.

For more information on safety, click the topics below:

Check In/Check Out
Check In
  • Parents bring children to the Check In Station.
  • Information is entered into our data base.
  • Parents are given a pager (No one enters the Exodus Kids area without a pager).
  • Parents take children to appropriate room, show pager to Room Leader and drop off their child.
  • Parents are given a nametag before they enter the children’s area.
Check Out
  • K-5th Grade Kids are picked up in the classroom by their parents after communion so they can worship as a family.
  • Pagers are visually checked by Room Leads when parents pick up their children.
  • Kids’ name tags stay in their classroom, and pagers are left with the security guard as they exit the children's area.
Structure
Nursery (6 months to 1 year)
  • Ratio 2-1
  • Primarily at this age, we provide nurture and care.
  • Infants are welcome in the service with a room provided for parents to care for them if needed. Audio of the service will be provided in the Infant room.
Toddler I (1 year olds) & Toddler II (2 year olds)
  • Ratio 3-1
  • Your child will hear a Story, sing worship songs and play.
Preschool - 3 year olds & 4 year olds
  • Ratio 7-1
  • Your child will hear a Story, sing worship songs and guided play.
Primary -- Kindergarten through 5th Grade
When you feel that your child is mature enough to be in the service with you, we want you to feel free to make that decision. Exodus Kids is offered to supplement not replace the spiritual formation provided in the family.
  • Ratio 7-1
  • Your child will sing worship songs and particpate in large group story time with all the children. After this, the children may divide into small groups for discussion about the Bible Story by grade.

Will My Child Have Fun?

Each week, our volunteers work to provide an exciting, nurturing and intentional environment for our children. Through creative teaching, crafts and other avenues, our leaders help children enjoy learning about Jesus from the Bible. Your children will have a great time at Exodus Kids.

What Will My Child Learn?

The goal of Exodus Kids is to partner with parents to show children that Jesus is the one who delivers us from bondage so that we might worship Him and serve Him in the world. We want to teach them about Jesus through biblically faithful, age appropriate teaching that centers on the person and work of Jesus as the centerpiece of God’s story.
