Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…

Men’s Breakfast, Nov. 15

Join Exodus Men for breakfast, 8-10 a.m. at the City Cafe, 128 S. Main Street, Mt. Holly, NC 28120. Cost is $8.00 per person plus tip and tax

We will hear from a few men who have been impacted through the Authentic Manhood class as well as take a look at how we hope God will continue to shape us into authentic, gospel men into the future. This time is for men at both the Belmont and Northlake congregations. RSVP here.

Exodus Kids Need

We have a need for two infant workers for the 11:00 service starting immediately. If you are able to help, please contact Heather Phillips.
Forest Heights Clothing Drive
Exodus is helping Forest Heights Elementary School stock its clothing closet for students in need. We will continue collecting through Sunday, November 16.

There will be a bin set up in the hallway outside the worship space. Clothing is needed in sizes 4 to 16/18, with the greatest need for pants (can be secondhand) or underwear (new only)Sizes in the 8-12 range are especially needed. Pants or shorts with elastic or adjustable waists are helpful. If you have any questions, contact Joy La Prade or Leah Stewart on The City.

This week on the blog
This week, look on the blog for a helpful post on Christian apologetics, by Kyle McNamara.

Brian mentioned a couple of points in his sermon on Sunday for which there are helpful resources on the blog. One is an article by John Piper on “Does Baptism Save?” The other is related to how we navigate the “culture wars” that sometimes rage against our Christianity. “Left Behind in America” is by Dr. Russell Moore.

Project Angel Tree

Our Angel Tree project for this year will kick off on November 23. Begin to pray about how you and your family can be involved with helping other needy families in the area through this project.

Community Groups

If you’re not already connected in a Community Group, we encourage you to visit one or more to see for yourself how important they are to Exodus Church. You can see a list of options here, or look for the list at the Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning at the welcome desk.
