Here’s what’s happening at Exodus…
Baby Bottle Campaign

If you’ve been filling a baby bottle with change to help the Gaston County Crisis Pregnancy Center, return your bottle to the Welcome area this Sunday, June 21.

Deacons

The Elders are recommending the following people to serve in the office of Deacon.

Alex Kneen (Worship Leadership)      Steven Croshaw (Facilities)

If you have any concerns about either of these Deacon candidates, you may submit those in writing at info@theexoduschurch.org. The Elders will follow up on any concern expressed in this manner. Next Sunday, June 21st, our members will have an opportunity to vote “yes” or “no” on the slate of deacons.

Plan for your summer fun…

Be sure to pick up a Summer Fun flier in the Welcome Area on Sunday for the full line-up of EK summer activities.

K-2nd Skating

Join us for skating at Kate’s Skating Rink—Hudson location (corner of Hudson and Union Roads). Elle Painter is coordinating the skating activity; if you haven’t already signed up, be sure to contact her (on The City) to register your interest.

On Friday, meet at the front entrance to Kate’s at 11:00 a.m. and enter as a group in order to get the special discounted rate!  $3/person includes admission, skating rental & play gym (pay in cash at the door).

Bowling—3rd-5th graders

Join us for an afternoon of bowling—3rd-5th graders at Textile Lanes, 680 Park Street in Belmont. Friends and siblings are welcome if a parent stays.

Preschool Park Days

The next preschoolers Park Day will be August 10 starting at 11:00 in Davis Park. Bring a lunch and a friend!

Community Groups

Summer is a great time to get involved in a community group. If you’re not currently connected this way, pick up a community group schedule at the Welcome area on a Sunday morning, or check here for a list of options. There is sure to be an option near you at a time you can join.
